Our story

Securing Lexington since 1982.

Lexington Lock Service is a locally owned and operated business located in Lexington, Massachusetts since 1982. Owner Bob O'Keefe brings to every job the rare combination of door-hardware mastery and life-safety expertise — so you get the right product, installed the right way, the first time.

The showroom

Come see what fits.

Our fully-stocked Bedford Street showroom is filled with safes, doorknob locks & deadbolts, decorative door hardware, and a full line of regular and high-security automotive keys — the kind commonly called "chip keys."

From house keys to sidewinder automotive keys, high-security keys, or flat steel safe-deposit keys — we have the equipment on-site to cut, duplicate, and program nearly anything you bring through the door.

We come to you, too.

At Lexington Lock Service we can re-key most locks in the store while you wait. We're also a full-service mobile locksmith — a stocked van and service tech can come to your home or place of business.

Whether it's installing a new deadbolt, rekeying after a home purchase, or designing and managing a full master-key system for a small business, condo complex, or multi-building site — we handle it.
